Border Patrol facilities have been way over capacity for many weeks, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria offered the federal government the opportunity to house the teenage migrants in the San Diego Convention Center. The San Diego Convention Center is already at capacity, as it is sheltering around 1,000 migrants, who are also receiving in-person instruction from San Diego Unified teachers who have volunteered to teach them. …read more…
